Artist Statement for Gifts Inn Exhibition July 2016
Exhibition title: “Re-Imagined Items”
As a child Donna I enjoyed collecting small found items from rocks to coins. Her creative process involves collecting and re-imaging items. She like to explore a variety of mediums but one common thread in her work is re-imaging collected items. The body of Donna’s work brings together this collecting and re-imagining into relief paintings, sculptures, and digital collages.
