Biography
Donna Ward Lehman is an art instructor at Middletown High School in Middletown, Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Shepherd University in 1996 and her Master of Liberal Arts Degree from McDaniel College in 2004. In 2013 and 2016 Lehman participated in Artomatic Frederick in Frederick, Maryland. Also in 2013 Lehman had a solo exhibition, “Collected Items,” at Co-Work Frederick in Frederick, Maryland. In addition she was selected for The Bridge Gallery’s “Eco-Art” Exhibition in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. In 2015, 2016, and 2017 Lehman was selected for the 82nd, 83rd, and 84th Annual Cumberland Valley Juried Artist Exhibition at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts in Hagerstown, Maryland. In early Summer 2015 and 2017 she was selected and participated in the Delaplaine’s Nationally Juried Annual Exhibition in Frederick, Maryland. In November of 2015 Lehman was selected and participated in a joint exhibition at the Washington County Arts Council. In November 2016 Lehman was named the first place winner of the Maryland Federation of Art, Strokes of Genius Exhibition and Lehman was selected for MFA Strokes of Genius Exhibition again in 2017. In March 2023 Lehman is participating in the Frederick County Public Schools Art Instructor Showcase at the Delaplaine Arts Center in Frederick, Maryland. Lehman grew up in Brunswick, Maryland. She now resides in Hagerstown, Maryland with her husband and two children. Her current work consists of mixed media paintings. |
